SWIRL SANGRIA IS A FUN AND DELICIOUS CRAFT CANNED WINE MADE WITH ARTISANAL WINES AND REAL FRUIT.

The family of one of Missouri’s most renowned wineries was interested in expanding into a new market segment by launching an artisanal canned wine brand. They sought out Novel to work with them to create a fresh, modern, elevated brand with a playful spirit. Their priorities for the brand were that it would stand out on retailer shelves, while communicating the craft and intention behind the wine growing and artisanal recipes.

FresH, Modern DESIGN WITH A PLAYFUL TWIST

SWIRL needed elevated branding that would communicate the sophistication of their artisanal winemaking and locally-grown ethos with a fun, playful spirit that would appeal to today’s consumers looking for new canned alcohol beverage experiences. To achieve this we combined a modern typeface and clean design with playful graphics and a fresh, colorful palette. As a Start-up entering a new Market, IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR SWIRL TO HAVE A UNIQUE, MEMORABLE VISUAL iDENTITY THAT WOULD RESONATE WITH THEIR TARGET AUDIENCE AND DRIVE RETAIL SALES.

SWIRL needed labels, packaging and marketing imagery with an elevated presence that would appeal to consumers, wine shops, specialty retailers and key distributors.
